VISA INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS
- Passport, or recognized travel document valid at least 6 months before expiry.
- Two (2) fully completed and signed Visa Application Forms, and two (2) passport-size photographs. Scanned photographs and photocopies are not accepted.
- If the application is for a Transit Visa, a valid visa for the main destination will be required.
- For representatives of organizations, letters of introduction from such organizations.
- A copy of return air-ticket or confirmation of booking, indicating the correct travel details.
- For passports sent by post, Euros 10 for one passport, (Euros 5 for each additional passport), for return by registered mail. This is allowed only in exceptional cases.
- Visas are obtained within 48 hours. Applications are submitted only in the morning, i.e. 9.30 a.m. - 12.30 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
- The Embassy is open Monday to Friday (From 09:00 hrs to 12:30hr and from 14:00hr to 16:00 hrs), and closed on public holidays and weekends.

Payments are made to Uganda Embassy, Paris, by cash or money order only.

French nationals holding French passports need an entry visa for Uganda.
Naturalised French citizens of Ugandan descent need an entry visa for Uganda.
Nationals of the countries listed below are exempted from visa requirements for travel to Uganda. They do, however, need to have a current passport issued by their respective countries.
IMPORTANT POINTS
In order to qualify for a visa application, all intending travellers to Uganda must comply with the previous (see top) requirements and you must be in possession of a valid passport issued by your government.
Recommended are:
A. An International Vaccination Certificate against Cholera (recommended, not required).
B. An International Inoculation Certificate against Yellow Fever.
You must obtain a Uganda Government VISA before entry into Uganda as described above.
