1. I am an EU member, can I get a visa at Entebbe airport.

-Yes, it is possible but the procedure is much longer with no 100 percent guarantee that you will get the visa. We therefore encourage you to process the visa at the Embassy.

2. What do I require to get a visa to Enter Uganda?

-Kindly refer to our visa section on this website.

3.Can a Ugandan Frenchman hold a Ugandan passport.?

- Dual citisenship, although it has been approved, has not been implemented. This is only a matter of time.

4. Is the Euro easily accepted by Ugandan vendors?

-Yes it is. There are sercure gvernment regulated forex bureau's scattered all over the country for your convience.

5. Once I have a Kenyan or Tanzanian visa, do I need a Ugandan visa to enter Uganda?

-Yes, a Ugandan visa is necessary for all non East Africans to enter Uganda.

6. There is war in the north of your country. How safe is it to travel?

-There was war in Nothern Uganda. However we are glad to announce here that there is The Peace Process going on, resettlement of civilians and a sucessful people police. However, if you have any querries, do not hesitate to consult our consular services at the Embassy.

7. Why does your Embassy charge €5O for visa while your sister Embassy charges 35 Dollars?

-Our charges are based on diplomatic receprocity. Furthermore, our Embassy in Washington actually charges 100 Dollars.

8. Why don't you have special tarrifs for Humanitatian workers, students and minors?

-Our visa tarrifs are based on the laws and regualations of our government. There are therefore no special tarrifs.
